Accessibility
Civic information should work for everyone.
Rate My Representatives is being designed for repeated civic use across devices, abilities, languages, and levels of technical experience.

Our target
The marketing site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The future application will adopt the same baseline for navigation, representative profiles, ratings, evidence, identity flows, and data visualizations.
What this release supports
Pages use semantic headings, visible focus states, keyboard-operable navigation, labeled form controls, descriptive links, reduced-motion support, high-contrast text, and responsive layouts.
Decorative imagery is separated from essential information. Important claims and status labels remain available as text.
Language and comprehension
The initial copy is English and structured for localization. Product language avoids unnecessary protocol jargon and explains civic and technical terms before relying on them.
French and other language support will require human translation and review rather than automated publication alone.
Feedback
Accessibility issues may be reported through the project’s GitHub repository. Include the page, the task you were attempting, and the browser or assistive technology involved when you are comfortable doing so.
Accessibility must not depend on a scored identity
No social credit scores shall be created with this technology by Civic Ledger AI Ltd. or Checks and Balances Committee Ltd., or in any implementation that either company develops, operates, governs, or licenses.
Access to accessibility features, feedback channels, or project participation will not be conditioned on a citizen reputation, trust, or social-credit score.
